The Student Affairs Department in collaboration with students Excellence Centre had conducted a graduate CSR Programme Keluarga Angkat @Baling on 24 – 26 April 2016

  1. A promotion for the polytechnic education
  2. Enhancing the image of polytechnic as a TVET Institution
  3. Exposing the students to real kampong life so as to inculcate the gratitude and feeling thankful to the sacrifices of their families.
  4. Developing care and love, teamwork and leadership among the students.

All the activities are conducted by the students. This is to train and develop the teamwork skill and prepare them for their future undertaking

Examples of activities are aerobics, gotong royong, tradisional games, students cultural presentation, motivational session in school and a trip to the Hot Water Park. Students are also taught to cook rice in the bamboo, this is a survival activity for the students.

Even though the time is short and limited, but the care and love has blossomed among the participants. Many families as well as students were seen crying during the closing ceremony.

We hope the relations developed will be lasting, and look forward to visit the families again.
